No groups of 12 following a guide with a flag. Every dive is a maximum of 4 divers per instructor. That means more time underwater, more safety and a dive tailored to your actual level — whether you are a complete beginner or a diver with hundreds of logged dives.
Pro Dive is a recognised SSI (Scuba Schools International) center, one of the two largest scuba certification agencies in the world. The qualifications you earn here are internationally valid: you can dive with them at any center on the planet.
We work in English, Spanish and Italian. Theory sessions, pre-dive briefings and all training are delivered in the language you prefer.

Lanzarote has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 1993. Underwater, that translates into volcanic seabeds found nowhere else in Europe, visibility of 20 to 30 metres and water temperatures ranging from 18 to 24 °C throughout the year.
The island is home to one of the most stable populations of angel sharks (Squatina squatina) in the Atlantic. This species, critically endangered across most of its range, appears here regularly between October and April. It is one of the few dives in Europe where you can see angel sharks on a regular basis.
Beyond angel sharks, dives in Lanzarote commonly feature butterfly rays, moray eels, octopuses, cuttlefish, barracudas, manta rays, bream and parrotfish. Marine life varies depending on the site and time of year.

Yes. That is exactly what the try dive is for: a real open water dive with no previous experience needed. We start with a briefing on land, practise basic skills in shallow water and then do the dive. Always in groups of maximum 4 people with an instructor by your side at all times.
A try dive is a one-off experience, done in a single day, with no certification. It is a way to see if scuba diving is for you. The Open Water is a 3 to 4 day course with online theory (completed from home) and open water dives. When you finish, you earn an SSI certification that lets you dive independently to 18 metres at any dive center in the world.

Yes. Pro Dive is an SSI center, but certifications from PADI, CMAS and all internationally recognised agencies are fully compatible. You can join guided dives or continue your training with us — no additional paperwork required. Your qualification remains valid.
Yes, and it is actually one of the best times. Water temperature in winter drops to around 18 degrees, which is perfectly comfortable in a wetsuit. Visibility remains 20 to 30 metres. And October to April is when adult angel sharks appear, so many divers come specifically in winter to see them.

Try dives are available from age 8 under SSI standards. Open Water and Advanced courses can be taken from age 10 with a Junior certification (reduced maximum depth and always accompanied by a certified adult). Get in touch with your children's ages and we will let you know what options they have.
No. All Pro Dive services (try dives, courses and guided dives) include full equipment: wetsuit, regulator, tank, buoyancy control device (BCD) and dive computer. If you prefer to use your own gear, you are welcome to bring it.
On a shore dive you walk into the water from the beach or rocks. This is the standard entry at sites like Charco del Palo or Puerto del Carmen. On a boat dive you sail to the dive site and enter the water directly above it. This is how you reach the Atlantic Museum or more remote sites along the coast. Pro Dive operates both ways depending on the day's dive plan.
